Doing It Raw Workshop

Challenge

The client was a sexual wellness coach who was running a workshop at a festival. They wanted an announcement to send to the festival marketing page to entice people to attend.

Their brand voice was sexy, informative and approachable.

Their target audience were 23-35 year olds of all genders attending the festival.

The action they wanted people to take was to attend the workshop.

Solution

I wrote a description of the workshop to be used on the festival's social media pages.

The language and structure I used followed the brand voice so that the writing felt sexually evocative, but also friendly and open, creating a safe space.

The initial questions outlined some of the target audience's pain points and struggles, which I then followed with the deep benefits the client could provide.

As it can be an intimidating workshop to attend, I also included personal details about the client, to create an emotional connection between her and the target audience. This makes the product more approachable and increases the likelihood of attendance.

The workshop was the most well-attended at the festival.
